Our story
Our journey to becoming a national provider of security and facilities management services started in 2001 when we launched a parking enforcement company.
Today, Aegis Support Services is a national provider of security and facilities management services. Our journey started back in 2001 when we launched as a parking enforcement company.
Back then we were a small team and operated predominantly in the South East. Over the next ten years, our business grew quickly as customers valued our focus on delivering both value for money and a high-quality responsive service and in 2010 we launched our security department offering to broaden the coverage across the Home Counties. Then in 2018, we launched our in-house training business, Aegis Training, enabling us to create bespoke training programmes for our security guards and facilities management teams including specialist courses in safeguarding, health and safety, and a range of first aid and business courses.

Over the years our business has grown significantly, launching several new offices across the UK and broadening our services. Today, we are a national security and facilities management business with offices in Milton Keynes, Luton, Cardiff, Manchester, and Glasgow. We have increased our scope to customers to enable us to provide them with the full range of security and facilities management services and have a culture that is based on operating with transparency and openness, providing a supportive working environment for our people that empowers them to deliver exceptional service to every customer.

The founders of Aegis Support Services started a parking enforcement company.
We developed our security services, offering manned guarding in events and the door supervisor industry.
Aegis Support Services moves into mobile patrol, keyholding, and manned guarding.
Aegis Support Services expands it’s offering to deliver facilities management services to customers and opens a London office.
Aegis Training was born – a training service for a variety of qualifications and Business courses for those in security and facilities management services.
We grew during the pandemic, supplying over 1,500 critical infrastructure support services, across the UK.
Completed our first acquisition with an ACR in Milton Keynes.
We opened a new office in Cardiff including a new training centre for Aegis Training.
We launched our Manchester office.
