What an incredible day at Love Luton RunFest!

On Sunday 12th October, #teamAegis joined thousands of runners and community members at the 2025 Love Luton RunFest, celebrating the 12th anniversary of this inspiring event that raises vital funds for fantastic local causes.

What is Love Luton RunFest?

Love Luton RunFest is the town’s flagship community running event, designed to bring people of all ages and abilities together for a day of fitness, fun, and fundraising. It is run by Love Luton, a community-driven initiative that brings together local businesses, residents, and organisations to celebrate everything that makes Luton special.

The event features multiple race distances to accommodate everyone – from seasoned marathon runners to families enjoying a leisurely walk. More than just a race, RunFest transforms the streets of Luton into a festival atmosphere, complete with entertainment, local food vendors, and activities for the whole family.

As proud sponsors of the event, the entire Aegis Group of Companies came together to support our community, including Aegis Support Services, Aegis Training, DE Signs, Harrington Green, Elara Events, CTRL Room, Lykke London, and Matilda May.

Our teams didn’t just sponsor from the sidelines – they laced up their trainers, cheered from the route, and volunteered throughout the day to ensure the event’s success.

The energy and enthusiasm throughout the day was incredible. From the starter’s horn to the final finisher crossing the line, the streets were lined with supporters from across the local community, all sharing a sense of community pride for this shared cause.

Making a difference: raising money for Friends Of Bright Eyes

We’re thrilled to announce that our efforts helped raise £4,121 for Friends Of Bright Eyes (FOBE), an incredible charity transforming lives for children and adults with disabilities.

FOBE provides essential support services, specialized equipment, and opportunities that enable people with visual impairments and other disabilities to live fuller, more independent lives. Every pound raised at RunFest will go directly toward funding these vital services right here in Luton.
