Our security technology and how it keeps our clients safe and secure: A Q&A with our team in Milton Keynes

In today’s rapidly evolving security landscape, businesses require sophisticated monitoring solutions that can provide round-the-clock protection and rapid response capabilities to help keep their people, premises, and key assets safe and secure.

We sat down with Nadeem Iqbal, Director of Mobile Services, and Carol Raymond, Head of Mobile Services, from our team in Milton Keynes, to find out how our investment in cutting-edge technology deployed in our security control room helps our teams deliver enhanced protection for clients across a range of sectors and in locations across the UK.

Can you describe the technology you use and how your control room works?

Our control room, based in Wolverton, Milton Keynes, operates 24/7/365 and is equipped with state-of-the-art systems to ensure we can provide a rapid response and continuous protection for our clients, regardless of where they are located.

Our teams use integrated CCTV platforms, intruder and fire alarm monitoring, access control systems, and incident management software. All of this allows our highly trained on-site security staff to monitor activity in real-time and coordinate responses efficiently with our security patrol and on-site teams. It means we can provide the support needed for clients who require us to respond quickly and efficiently, whatever the reason.

Can you tell me more about the technology Aegis uses to help protect its clients’ premises, people, and key assets?

We use high-definition CCTV with remote access, motion detection, and smart analytics. This combination of technology means we can monitor a vast range of types of premises and facilities for our clients.

We are also always looking to enhance our capabilities and to continue investing in technology and are in the process of obtaining software for alarm systems that are linked via systems called Redcare and DualCom, which enables secure dual-path communication.

The access control system we use is fully integrated, which means we can monitor and control entry points in real-time for our clients.

What are the main benefits for your customers because of the technology Aegis have available?

The key benefits for our clients are faster response times, real-time alerts, comprehensive incident tracking, and a significant reduction in the risks they face from potential security issues such as break-ins or vandalism.

Our clients have the reassurance that their premises and assets are being protected by a dedicated team using reliable, modern technology.
