How we train and develop our security teams

Investing in the development of our people and their skills is a top priority for us as a business. Regardless of their level of seniority, position, or experience, we provide opportunities for all to flourish. 

As part of this commitment to support our teams, we recently held a training and development session for our Education Security team and members of Senior Leadership team.

Held at our Security and Control Centre in Milton Keynes, the day included a series of training sessions specifically tailored for the education sector, focusing on:

• behavioural management
• safeguarding
• youth mental health

We were delighted to have some expert speakers and trainers with us on the day, including Sujel Miah from Transform Training Consultancy, who delivered an excellent session on youth mental health first aid and Rahbia Chaudarey from Chiltern Learning Trust, who delivered a very insightful session on safeguarding.
