How we partner with Luton Airport

Traffic marshals play an essential role at any airport location, helping to ensure that traffic flows, and to ensure the safety of passengers, pedestrians, visitors, and staff. We have been working to support London Luton Airport to enhance their traffic marshalling. After several discussions and a review of the current approach, we were awarded a contract

Today, our Security team works closely with the airport team to provide traffic marshals that play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of passengers, pedestrians, visitors, and staff.

We provide a team of highly trained marshals that have a range of responsibilities, including:

• Traffic control: Our traffic marshals’ direct vehicles at various locations where traffic flow needs to be managed. They use hand signals and electronic devices to indicate when vehicles should stop, go, or change lanes.
• Ensuring pedestrian safety: Our marshals ensure the safe passage of pedestrians across roads and intersections across the airport’s site. This often requires stopping traffic to allow pedestrians to cross safely in key locations.
• Communication: Our team of traffic marshals communicate with drivers, pedestrians, and other stakeholders to provide information about restrictions, detours, and other relevant updates about what is happening across the airport.
• Safety measures: To ensure safety, they may set up traffic cones, signs, or barriers to specify lanes, mark hazards, or redirect traffic as needed.

Our Security team collaborates closely with the London Luton Airport team to provide traffic marshals who ensure the safety of passengers, staff, and visitors.
