How Rapid Deployment CCTV Works

Rapidly deployable CCTV comes in the form of a fully self-contained, battery-powered 4G/5G system. These systems are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and can usually be set up quickly (hence the “rapidly deployable” part). Once installed, the system is connected to a security control room or alarm receiving centre. From that point onward, you can access continuous support for the security of your site until it is no longer needed, at which time we can simply collect and redeploy the equipment.

The benefits of rapid deployment CCTV

  1. Flexibility: These systems can be deployed in various environments, including remote locations without power or internet connectivity.
  2. Quick setup: The rapid deployment aspect means that security can be established quickly, which is crucial for temporary or emergency situations.
  3. Cost-effective: Since these systems are temporary and can be redeployed, they offer a cost-effective solution for short-term security needs.
  4. Scalability: Multiple units can be deployed across large areas, providing comprehensive coverage.

Applications of rapid deployment CCTV

Rapidly deployable CCTV systems are useful for a variety of sites and situations, including:

  • Construction sites: Rapid deployment CCTV can help you protect valuable equipment and materials from theft and vandalism. For example, a construction company may need to secure a remote site where traditional CCTV installation is not feasible due to the lack of power and internet connectivity. By deploying a rapid deployment CCTV system, they can monitor the site 24/7, preventing theft and vandalism. The system was easily moved to new locations as the project progressed.
  • Events: Rapid deployment CCTV can also enhance the safety of attendees at festivals, concerts, and other large gatherings. For example, during a large music festival, organisers could use rapid deployment CCTV to monitor crowd movements and ensure the safety of attendees. The system can also provide real-time footage to the security control room, allowing for quick responses to any incidents.
  • Crime-prone hotspots: Rapid deployment CCTV systems are designed to be quickly installed and relocated, making them ideal for monitoring crime-prone hotspots.
  • Traffic management: Rapid deployment CCTV can also assist in managing traffic flow and monitoring road conditions.
